Is my borrower data safe?

Absolutely. All data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored only in your browser's local storage. It never touches our servers. Data auto-clears after 30 minutes of inactivity, and you can manually wipe it anytime.

Which LOS systems does it work with?

Encompass (ICE Mortgage Technology), Calyx Point/Path, Byte Pro Enterprise, LoanSphere (Black Knight), and Fannie Mae DU. We're adding more monthly.

What lender portals are supported?

Wells Fargo, Rocket Mortgage, Chase, Bank of America, UWM, PennyMac, Freedom Mortgage, loanDepot, U.S. Bank, Citi, Flagstar, NewRez, Caliber, and more. The generic detection also works on portals not yet in our database.

Can I use it on any website?

Yes. While we have optimized detection for 20+ specific portals, the generic field detection works on any website with standard form fields.

Do I need to install any software?

No. FillRight is a Chrome extension. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, pin it to your toolbar, and you're ready to go in 30 seconds.

Is it TRID/RESPA compliant?

Yes. FillRight includes a built-in compliance audit trail that logs every auto-fill operation with a timestamp — without ever recording the actual field values. This gives you a defensible record of what was populated and when, exportable as CSV for your compliance files.

FillRight does not originate, modify, or transmit loan data. It reads data already in your LOS and populates fields in a lender portal — the same action a loan officer would take manually. This keeps it outside the scope of RESPA Section 8 fee-splitting concerns and consistent with TRID disclosure workflows.

Does FillRight create any broker liability?

No additional liability is created beyond what exists when a loan officer manually enters data. FillRight automates the keystroke, not the decision. The loan officer initiates every capture and fill action — the extension never operates autonomously or in the background.

The audit trail actually reduces exposure: you have a timestamped log of every fill operation that can be produced in the event of a compliance review.

Is this compliant with the E-Sign Act and FCRA?

FillRight does not collect electronic signatures and does not access credit reports, so neither the E-Sign Act nor the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) governs its use directly. The extension populates form fields from data the loan officer has already lawfully collected — it does not independently pull, store, or transmit any consumer report data.

If your workflow involves e-signatures or credit data downstream (as most mortgage workflows do), those obligations belong to your LOS and lender portal, not to FillRight.
